Wow, This was my relationship with my mother in a nut shell.

It was a long journey for me to arrive at a place of peace with my mom. I'm grateful that I was in a good place with her before she died.

Even so, a friend told me that after my mom died i would give anything to spend one more day with her. This has never been the case. I loved her, but I've never felt the desire to put myself back in that minefield.
